What this site stores in your browser, and what it does not.
Last reviewed 6 October 2026
Draft for legal review. This page describes how the site works today; its final wording comes from TechnoBerg’s legal adviser.
The short version
The public site sets no cookies. It keeps one small value in your browser for the length of your visit, and nothing that measures, profiles or follows you.
What the site stores
One value, kept only for the length of your visit:
- Whether you have seen the opening animation, so it plays once per visit rather than on every page. It is kept in your browser’s session storage and cleared when you close the tab.
Your language choice is part of the page address, not a cookie. The security check that protects the enquiry forms is part of the form itself, not a cookie.
Staff sign-in
The administration system, used only by TechnoBerg staff, sets a sign-in cookie for staff accounts. Visitors to the public site never receive it.
What this site does not do
Today there is no analytics, no advertising network, no cross-site tracking pixel, and no social media button that reports your visit back to a platform. The social links in the footer are ordinary links.
TechnoBerg plans to use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It will stay off until you accept it, and this page will list exactly what it stores before it is switched on. The text of an enquiry and any file you send are never passed to analytics.
Clearing what is stored
Closing the tab clears the one stored value. Clearing this site’s data in your browser does the same.
